Two questions decide most 2-seater purchases, and neither reads off a screen.

How wide is the wall?

Our range spans 160cm to 208cm, which is a considerable difference when you're working to a two-metre wall with a door at one end. The variation between models is often in the arm, not the seat. Our collection include bespoke made-to-order pieces so measurements can vary. That's why a visit to our showroom is worth before ordering. 

How deep can you go?

Depth is what makes a small room feel comfortable or feel full. A deeper seat is better to sit in and harder to live around — the trade-off most people don't anticipate.

At the smaller end of the range, a 2-seater suits a snug, a bay window or a reading corner. At 208cm it's closer in footprint to a compact three-seater, with room to stretch out.

Fabric and grades

Over 100 fabrics across several grades — hard-wearing everyday weaves, natural linen blends, and eco-conscious options including Nori.

Grade is one of the decisions that changes the price most. It runs from hard-wearing everyday weaves through to natural linens and eco-conscious options, and each fabric carries its own price and Martindale rating — the standard measure of durability.

Will a 2-seater fit a small sitting room?

Usually, but measure the wall it's going against and the route in — door, hallway, stair turn. Delivery is to your ground floor and the sofa has to get there. If you're unsure, send us photos and rough dimensions and we'll check it with you.

What's the difference between a 2-seater and a small 3-seater?

Less than you'd think at the top of our range. At 208cm a 2-seater has a similar footprint to a compact three-seater, but with two deeper seats rather than three narrower ones. It's a question of how you sit, not just how much space you have.

Can I choose the fabric?

Yes. Over 100 options across several grades, plus leather. Most models are made to order, so the fabric, leg finish and configuration are yours to choose.

How long does a made-to-order sofa take?

Between 4 weeks for in stock sofas and between 6 and 8 weeks for made to order pieces. The lead time is listed on each product page. We'll contact you to arrange delivery, and if anything is going to take longer than quoted, we'll tell you.

Can I return a made-to-order sofa?

No. Anything built to your fabric, configuration or dimensions can't be cancelled or returned once ordered, because it's made specifically for you and can't be resold. That's why we'd rather you took your time — book a consultation, see and feel the fabrics in person, sit on the frame. Stocked items are different; see our returns policy.

Do you deliver outside Cork?

Yes, throughout the Republic of Ireland and Ulster. Free within the Republic on orders over €399; Ulster is €99. All furniture is delivered to the ground floor — tell us in advance about stairs, narrow hallways or tight corners.

Do you have a showroom?
