How does the Fernwood extend?

It has an end-leaf extension, with the option to add one or two leaves — so you can open it out at the end for extra length when you’re hosting, and keep it compact day to day.

What are the two leg designs?

The Fernwood comes with a choice of two leg styles — the U Leg or the Trapeze Leg — so you can set the look of the table. You can also choose steel legs in three colours. 

What sizes does it come in?

Two base sizes, with lengths from 160cm up to 260cm (90cm or 100cm wide depending on size), each extending with one or two leaves. See the dimensions above for the full list.

What’s it made from?

Solid FSC®-certified European ash, finished with natural wood oil. It’s solid wood throughout, so it develops character and patina over time, and the surface can be re-oiled to refresh it.

Can scratches and marks be repaired?

Yes — because it’s solid ash rather than veneer, minor marks and scratches can be sanded and re-oiled over time, so the table can be brought back to its best for years.

What finishes are available?

Twelve wood finishes, plus three steel leg colours and a choice of edge profiles and plates — so each table is tailored to your interior. Get in touch about the finishes and any customisation.

How long will I be waiting?

Around 12–14 weeks from order to delivery. Because it’s made to order, it’s built fresh to your size, legs and finish — we’ll keep you posted along the way.

Can I see it before I order?

Yes — the Fernwood is on display in our Douglas, Cork showroom, so you can see the ash and the finishes in person before you commit.

Do I have to pay it all upfront?

Not at all. Pay in full if you’d rather, or spread it — a 50% deposit gets your order started, and we invoice the balance only once your table is ready to deliver.
