How to Care For Your Manny Table

Solid ash benefits from oiling around three times a year, depending on the warmth and humidity in your home — your table comes with a complimentary bottle of oil in your table's stain, so you can replenish the colour each time you re-oil. And because it's solid wood rather than veneer, any scratches or marks can be sanded down and re-stained if needed. With proper care, it will remain a cherished part of your home for years to come.

How does the Manny extend?

It has a smooth central extension. On the 120cm and larger sizes it takes up to 4 leaves, and the 100cm and 110cm sizes take one leaf. So you can open it out for guests and close it back down for everyday.

What makes the Manny different?

Its sculptural crossed leg base gives the round table an architectural look while letting chairs sit comfortably all the way around. Add the central extension and it's a flexible, characterful table.

How many people does it seat?

What's it made from?

Solid FSC®-certified European ash, finished with natural wood oil. It's solid wood throughout, so it develops character and patina over time, and the surface can be re-oiled to refresh it.

Can scratches and marks be repaired?

Yes — because it's solid ash rather than veneer, minor marks and scratches can be sanded and re-oiled over time, so the table can be brought back to its best for years.

What finishes are available?

How long will I be waiting?

Around 12–14 weeks from order to delivery. Because it's made to order, it's built fresh to your size and finish — we'll keep you posted along the way.

Can I see it before I order?

Yes — come and see the ash and the finishes in person in our Douglas, Cork showroom. 

Do I have to pay it all upfront?

Not at all. Pay in full if you'd rather, or spread it — a 50% deposit gets your order started, and we invoice the balance only once your table is ready to deliver.

We always recommend that you give your new solid wood furniture a suitable surface treatment before you use it. It is then maintained with a care product (danish oil) 1 - 3 times a year - depending on how much wear and dry air your furniture is exposed to.
