Its top can be specified in a hardwearing silk-matt laminate — white high-pressure laminate, or a new black nano laminate — that wipes clean and stands up to everyday family life, on a choice of oak or black wengé bases. 

- Under the top, two folding leaves unfold easily to take it from six seats up to twelve, so it grows for a gathering and tucks back down after. And it's a genuinely handsome thing: a crisp rectangular top on sloping, wedge-shaped legs, where the top and base play off each other into one sculptural whole. Practical and good-looking — you don't have to choose.

There's a choice of finishes, and the laminate tops pair with several base options. Danish design, made for real life.

How to Care for Your Skovby #11 Dining Table

With proper care, it will remain a cherished part of your home for years to come. Skovby provides detailed care and maintenance guidance for their tables — following it keeps yours looking its best and protects it over the years. The laminate top is especially easy to keep clean — a wipe with a damp cloth is usually all it needs. 

For regular care, dust with a soft microfibre cloth. To clean or remove spills, wipe the surface with a clean, damp cloth and dry thoroughly with a microfibre cloth to prevent spotting. Clean spills immediately by blotting with a lightly damp cloth, then drying the area completely. As veneer is a thin layer of natural wood, extra care should be taken to avoid scratches, chips, and prolonged exposure to moisture.

Use coasters, placemats, tablecloths, and runners to protect surfaces from heat, stains, and abrasive objects. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaners, direct sunlight, excessive heat, and leaving items in the same position for extended periods, as this may cause permanent discolouration. With proper care, your veneer furniture will maintain its appearance and longevity for years to come.
